Infant / Toddler Program

Play-Based Learning Environment

 Infants & Toddlers

Our Infant/Toddler program serves children 6 week to 2 years old. Our staff is trained in Infant/Toddler development and uses that knowledge to create an age appropriate environment and activities. Our day consists of indoor/outdoor play, sensory activities, large & small motor activities, reading, singing, solo and interactive play, art, and tactile experiences. Young infants get a lot of one on one time, supervised tummy time, and cuddles while they are in our care. You will be hard pressed to find a teacher on our staff who does not want to hold a baby!

We work closely with you to keep your child's eating, napping, and diapering schedule as close to home as possible. Upon enrollment we will have you sit down with one of our teachers to complete a Needs & Service form so we can learn your child's schedule. This will be updated at least every 3 months.

We participate in the Child & Adult Food Program through the state which allows us to provide well rounded, home-made, healthy meals to your child. If you are nursing you may nurse your child on site or provide breastmilk for us to offer your child while she is here. Our center serves a specific formula, but you may choose to bring your own brand if you prefer. The food program is optional, and you may decline if you wish.

We maintain a ratio of 4 children to 1 teacher and our classroom is licensed for 12 children. We have an additional staff member on hand to monitor sleeping infants who are under 1 year old, and take our safe sleep policy very seriously.

You will provide your own diapers and wipes, and we accept both disposable and cloth diapers.
